Dear Solar Enthusiasts,

This newsletter is designed to educate and demistify solar technology for both builders and consumers.  Our goal is to assist builders and consumers in making informed decisions regarding the usage of solar technology.

Allsolar Installs PV System for UCF

Allsolar Service Company install's University of Central Florida's first photovoltaic system.  This was an 11kW system installed on the University's Engineering Bldg.

We share UCF's vision of obtaining energy efficient buildings on campus.  It is UCF's and Allsolar's hope that this project will create a campus population which is informed and actively participates in the facilitation of sustainable growth thru renewable resources.  The solar system will help provide a educational outreach in order to generate changes in behavior toward solar.

Solar Hot Water Recieve Energy Star Rating

Effective January 1st Solar Hot Water recieved its long overdue  energy star rating.

"The ENERGY STAR® program empowers consumers to make smart energy choices that will save money, and energy, and reduce our carbon footprint," DOE Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Andy Karsner said.  "Expansion of the ENERGY STAR® program to include solar water heaters will give Americans yet another way to more efficiently use energy in their homes and, in the interest of increasing energy security and addressing climate change, help further the President's goal of fundamentally changing the way this nation uses power."
